Easy Air Fried Salmon is a quick and healthy meal that you can use with your air fryer any day of the week! Perfectly cooked every time!

Weeknight dinners can get boring when you cook every night, especially when trying to eat healthier! In my Facebook group, one of the number one requested recipes here lately has been for air fried salmon.

Sometimes salmon can be tricky to cook in terms of consistency, but with an air fryer, you no longer have to worry about that!

If you are on the Weight Watchers Freestyle Plan, you know that salmon is a ZERO point food. However, with the oil in this recipe, there are a couple of points added.

Serves 2  Each is 2 Smartpoints (because of the oil) 

Looking for a side dish that would pair perfectly with air fried salmon? Be sure to try this corn on the cob or some veggie-loaded mac and cheese! The colors from the peppers sure make a pretty side dish!

In order to make air fried salmon, obviously you will need an air fryer, I recommend this one!!

Here's a little secret…if you have an Instant Pot…you can use this to make it an air fryer too!!

Easy Air Fried Salmon

This air fried salmon is SUPER easy to cook and a healthy spin on a weeknight dinner. Weight Watchers friendly with ONLY 2 Smartpoints! Be sure to pair it with a nice garden salad or air fryer corn on the cob! #airfryer #airfryerrecipes #salmon #seafood #weightwatchers

Ingredients for Air Fried Salmon

2 pieces of salmon filets

¼ teaspoon salt

½ tsp coarse pepper (if you don't have it regular pepper is fine)

1 tbsp olive oil

½ tsp Old Bay or more to taste

1 tsp smoked paprika

2 lemon wedges

How to Make Air Fried Salmon

  1. Cover salmon filets with olive oil.
  2. Combine all seasonings and cover salmon liberally
  3. Place both filets in the air fryer basket or on a pan
  4. Cook at 390 for 6-8 minutes
  5. Squeeze lemon wedges if desired after the salmon is cooked.

Tips for Making Air Fried Salmon

  • This is the oil spritzer I use, you do not want to saturate your food.
  • You can line your air fryer with these, which makes for minimal clean up ( I am all about that!)
  • Remember all models of air fryers cook differently so you may need more or less time.
  • Always preheat your air fryer.
