Cranberry Apple Salad with Jello is a wonderful, festive side dish for any holiday! The simple ingredient list makes this side dish even more convenient! Weight Watchers friendly, only 4 Points on all of the new plans!

While holidays are usually filled with friends and family, they are often filled with lots of food! This is a foodies dream, but finding WW friendly foods can sometimes be challenging, but it doesn’t have to!

Cranberry apple salad puts a new twist on canned cranberry sauce. I actually HATE regular cranberry, but this recipe changed my mind! Plus I really like Jello, so this is much better than store-bought!

This side dish goes great with spiral ham and a homemade glaze as well as Instant Pot Turkey Breast with Gravy!

Cranberry Apple Salad

  2. Mix both packages of Jello in one cup of boiling water.

  4. Then combine all ingredients.
  5. Refrigerate until firm (a couple of hours or overnight) in a covered dish

What kind of apples should I use for Cranberry Apple Salad?

We really like Honeycrisp apples because they are on the sweeter side, but if you like some that are a little tangier I would recommend golden delicious or Granny Smith. Fresh apples have the best flavor! We like to make a trip apple picking when we make apple chips and Instant Pot Apple Crisp.

What kind of dish should I use for Cranberry Apple Salad?

This is best made in a 9×13 Pyrex dish! I love this dish because it has easy to grab handles which is great for transport. Also, when you are carrying hot foods to different places this makes it easy to carry without getting burned and less likely to spill!

Weight Watchers Points for Cranberry Apple Salad

Recently WW made some changes to the Freestyle Program, but no matter what plan you are following a serving of this is only 4 points. Serving size is ½ cup. Servings: 12

Your cranberry apple salad sounds delicious for a Thanksgiving side… I think I’m going to add mandarin oranges to it as well.
