This turkey waldorf salad recipe can easily be made vegetarian by using veggie meat substitutes! It’s already gluten-free, and totally vegan if you use a meat substitute. If you’re anything like me and you think “ew” at the thought of fruit and meat mixing, skip the apples and grapes and you’ll still love the waldorf salad. Though, I think the fruit might have something to do with it being called “waldorf” so… ignore me, what do I know? ;)
Turkey Waldorf Salad
Because of the turkey and walnuts, this salad is a high protein lunch option that will keep you full for a while. Whether you’re following Weight Watchers or just trying to make healthier choices in the new year, this Waldorf salad covers all your bases.

NOTE: USE NONFAT GREEK YOGURT IN PLACE OF MAYO TO MAKE THIS RECIPE 0 POINTS
Directions:
Combine the turkey, mayonnaise, apples, grapes, celery, and walnuts. Season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Serve on a bed of lettuce, or mixed with your favorite salad mix.
Turkey Waldorf Salad
Ingredients
- 1 cup cold turkey breast chopped
- 1/4 cup light Mayo
- 2 apples cored and chopped
- 1 cup seedless grapes sliced in half
- 1 cup celery thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup walnuts chopped
- Lettuce optional for serving
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine the turkey, mayonnaise, apples, grapes, celery and walnuts.
- Season with lemon juice, salt and pepper.
- Best if allowed to “marinade” overnight in the fridge.
- Serve on a bed of lettuce, or mixed with your favorite salad mix.
