Tater Tot Casserole - YUM!! Add Chicken For a ONE PAN MEAL
I love this Weight Watchers Tater Tot Casserole because even though it's not low points and easy to make. It's not healthy by any means so it's not something you want to eat every night, but it's one of those nice treats that you can enjoy while following the Weight Watchers program! This recipe SERVES 6.
Weight Watchers Tater Tot Casserole
1 can (10.5 oz) 98% fat-free condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup fat-free sour cream
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup light shredded Cheddar cheese
3/4 cup sliced green onions
32-ounce bag frozen tater tots
optional: chicken, for added protein
If you add chicken to this Weight Watchers Tater Tot Casserole, use boneless skinless chicken breast to add protein for 0 points! Then this would be a one-pan meal, perfect for the whole family!
Heat oven to 350°F. Spray baking dish with cooking spray. Mix condensed soup, 1/2 cup sour cream, the garlic powder, salt, pepper and 1/2 cup of the cheese until mixed well. Stir in chicken (if using) and 1/2 cup of the green onions.
Place half of the frozen tater tots in single layer on bottom of your baking dish. Spread mixture on top of potatoes. Top with remaining potatoes.
Bake for 45 minutes. Top casserole with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Bake 10 minutes longer, until cheese is melted. Top with remaining sour cream and top with remaining 1/4 cup sliced green onions.
