Best spinach dip recipe? Says who? Says me! ;)
The only thing I miss about living in Missouri is being able to see family during the holidays. It’s not even so much my family, but Rachel’s family was always great to be around (except this one Thanksgiving…). They loved that we brought tons of food over any chance we got. We both love to bake, so it was a given that we’d cover the desserts during the holiday visits and on Game Day! However, we always liked making things like artichoke dip, taco dip, etc. The #1 dip through the years has been this one, which is why it’s called the best spinach dip!
Best Spinach Dip Recipe
1 can refrigerated pizza dough
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 package frozen chopped spinach
1 cup cream cheese
1 package mozzarella cheese (around 1.5 cups)
Parmesan cheese for sprinkling on top
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Melted butter
Olive oil for prepping your pan.
Mix cream cheese, ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese and thawed spinach in a bowl until evenly blended.
Roll out dough, cut into 10 equal rectangles. Tie each of them in a loose knot.
Place knots around the edges of an oiled skillet, leaving the middle open.
Spoon in your cheese/spinach mixture to fill the empty space.
Sprinkle with leftover mozzarella and parmesan cheese, and a little bit of fresh parsley.
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
