We are leaving for Hawaii tomorrow and will be gone for 5 days, so I knew I had to come up with some fast, easy breakfast ideas for the girls. If not, they won’t eat and then Saff will get a migraine and then… oh, you already know how my anxiety works. No need to work us all up into a tizzy right now!
Breakfasts in our house have to be three things:
— high protein
— delicious
— easy
Teaming up with Smucker’s and Jif made sure all bases were covered, so our Peanut Butter and Jelly Granola Roll Ups were a home run! You see what I did there? #puns4life Smucker’s has been helping to make family meals more memorable since 1897! That’s a looonnnnng time.
We headed to Target and used the Cartwheel app to save 5%, which means my latte’ purchase was completely justified. Winning. Target is a one-stop-shop for all things awesome. I love that we have one right in Queen Creek. It doesn’t take much to get us country folks excited!
I had never used the Cartwheel app before, so I downloaded it literally as I was sitting in the Target parking lot. I signed up, headed in, and scanned each of the items that I had found on sale. I ended up saving like $7 off my total order!
Peanut Butter and Jelly Granola Roll Ups
Ingredients:
Tortillas – We used the smallest ones we could find
Jif Peanut Butter
Smucker’s Fruit Spreads – We used Smucker’s Fruit & Honey
Granola – Make your own or buy some, doesn’t matter
Fruit – We used bananas, raspberries, and blackberries
Directions:
Spread Jif Peanut Butter and Smucker’s Fruit & Honey on the tortillas. Don’t go all the way to the edges or you’ll have a mess on your hands. ;)
Next, add your granola and any other toppings! You can even get crazy and add chia seeds or honey. Don’t fill them too full or they won’t roll up. Don’t ask me how I know that.
Avoid stares from your audience.
Roll ’em up and enjoy!
