If you like spicy chocolate, you’ll love these! Even if you don’t, you really should try them. You can even use sweet peppers instead of hot ones!
Mix it up and stuff the jalapenos with peanut butter, or even cream cheese or caramel.
Get weird!
Ingredients
- Jalapenos (seeded)
- Creamy Peanut Butter
- Chocolate Almond Bark
Directions
Slice open the jalapenos and cut the seeds out.
Fill with peanut butter – be sure to stuff the peanut butter to completely fill the jalapeno.
Melt the chocolate almond bark and dip the peanut butter stuffed jalapenos until they’re completely covered.
But don’t burn yourself like we did.
Set on wax (or parchment) paper and place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
Wait… you didn’t think I made those perfect jalapenos above, did you? HA! I wish. After getting burned by hot caramel (yeah, that was another recipe… don’t ask), and after Nell getting burned, I said screw it! They got dipped. They got eaten. The end.
**Suzy Homemaker’s peanut butter photo rocks. Be sure to check her page out.
There’s even a video on Youtube on how to make these bad boys!
Notes
1. These jalapenos would be better if they were sliced up (like the video above suggests). The spice is great, but WAY TOO MUCH when you bit into a whole jalapeno! My lips are still on fire, an hour later.
2. You can make these without the peanut butter, but I don’t suggest it. They were really gross.
3. Try them, and let me know what you think!
