This is not the type of digital cleanse where you cut yourself off from social networking. It’s not the type of digital cleanse where you stop using electronics. The main purpose of this 3 Day Digital Cleanse is to clear your digital space, so you can be more productive – and profitable – in your work at home business.
Day 1
Cancel any recurring payments (through your bank, or Paypal) that are no longer providing value to your life.
Unsubscribe from any and all emails unless they’re SUPER useful! Use unroll.me and you can “roll” the subscriptions you keep, all into one email. Then you can preview them at the same time, and decide whether they’re worth reading or not.
That’s it for Day 1! Sit back and relax.
Day 2
Delete images and files you no longer need. If you’re a digital hoarder, and really freaked out about permanently deleting things, move files and images to an external hard drive.
Clear your desktop – both your computer’s desktop, and your actual desktop.
If you’re like me – *cough* super lazy *cough* – and you just “save to desktop” all the time instead of actually filing things away, it’s time to change that!
Clearing your actual desk off might take more time. Start by getting rid of any trash, or anything you don’t use on a regular basis. Use Pinterest for organizing and creative ideas.
Day 3
Create organized folders for each project or client you have.
Create and start to use a calendar system. Don’t “start slow” – jump right in.
