Instant Pot Ham with Pineapple Sugar Glaze

Remember for a caramelized glaze to follow stove top instructions, then finish in the oven.

  • 1 5-8 pound ham depending on the size of your Instant Pot
  • 1 cup of water
  • For the Pineapple sugar glaze
  • 1 20 oz can crush pineapple
  • ¾ c brown sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon


  • Set your ham in the middle of a large sheet of heavy-duty foil.
  • Wrap foil around ham and secure tightly
  • Pour in 1 cup of water
  • Place trivet inside of Instant Pot
  • Place ham (wrapped in foil) on top of the trivet.
  • Secure the Instant Pot lid and set the knob to the sealing position.
  • Cook on Manual/High pressure 15-25 minutes depending on the weight of your ham.
  • Let the Instant Pot naturally release for about 10, then perform a quick release.
