Weight Watchers Friendly Taco Bell Guide

We can't always meal prep every. single. meal. We can't always be home, because there are baseball games and kids get sick and… and… and. Things come up. Don't feel bad about eating out when you're doing Weight Watchers, just track your points, drink lots of water, and move on to the next meal.

Low Point Options at Taco Bell

There are low point options at Taco Bell, but they aren't very filling by themselves so you may need to order a few low point items to make a meal. This is a list of items that are 10 Freestyle SmartPoints or less at Taco Bell. Scroll down for some meal ideas.

Worst Weight Watchers Options at Taco Bell

You may want to avoid these options, as they are all 11 Freestyle Points or more at Taco Bell. If you have the points then by all means use them! But track, track, track.

These points might not seem too high considering it's fast food, but the portions at Taco Bell are usually fairly small, so keep that in mind when planning for your meal. You don't want to use 15 FSP and leave feeling hungry!

Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito (12 FSP)

Loaded Potato Griller (13 FSP)

Freestyle Points for Quesadillas at Taco Bell

I love quesadillas so they were always my “go-to” option when I ate at Taco Bell. Now seeing how many points they are, I don't eat them nearly as often… but it's good to know the point values just in case we do want to eat them!

Shredded Chicken Mini Quesadilla (6 FSP)

Beef Mini Quesadilla (7 FSP)

Breakfast Steak Quesadilla (15 FSP)

Weight Watchers Taco Bell Meal Ideas With Points

You could easily make a low point meal at Taco Bell by combining a few low point options and making them into a “bowl” (like a crunchy taco + beans + salsa). Don't feel limited and don't be tempted by high point options. You can stay on track with Weight Watchers even if you eat at Taco Bell once in a while!

Steer clear of cheese, sour cream, and guacamole if you're trying to stay low point at Taco Bell. Each person loads these items up differently so you may get 2 FSP worth of cheese or 4 FSP worth. Keep that in mind when ordering and tracking.

9 Freestyle SmartPoints: Crunchy Taco (5 FSP) + Black Beans & Rice (4 FSP) + Salsa (0 FSP)

10 Freestyle SmartPoints: Fresco Soft Taco With Chicken (4 FSP) + Cinnabon 2-pack (6 FSP)

11 Freestyle SmartPoints: Two Fresco Soft Tacos With Chicken (8 FSP) + Pintos N Cheese (3 FSP)

12 Freestyle SmartPoints: Pintos N Cheese (3 FSP) + Black Beans & Rice (4 FSP) + Crunchy Taco (5 FSP)

13 Freestyle SmartPoints: 2 Soft Tacos With Chicken (8 FSP) + Black Beans & Rice (4 FSP) + Black Beans (1 FSP) — loaded with protein!

14 Freestyle SmartPoints: Burrito Supreme With Chicken (6 FSP) + Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes (7 FSP) + Black Beans (1 FSP)

15 Freestyle SmartPoints: Two Fresco Crunchy Tacos With Beef (8 FSP) + Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes (7 FSP)

Calculating Weight Watchers Points at Taco Bell

I love this about Taco Bell: their nutrition app lets you add/remove ingredients so instead of guessing, you can put in exactly what you're eating and get the nutrition facts. Then add those to your WW app to get exact points. There's nothing wrong with “guesstimating” once in a while, but it's important to track the points if you can… and Taco Bell's nutrition calculator ensures this!

Your best bet is to always put nutrition facts into the WW app. Example: The app says a Sausage Breakfast Quesadilla is 10FSP but also says it is 16FSP. The app says a Sausage Soft Taco is 6 FSP and 7 FSP. While these aren't necessarily huge discrepancies, in the long run, I feel it's important enough to pre-track everything by using nutrition facts when possible.

  1. This is so helpful. Thank you for taking the time to do this and helping me stay on track!

  2. Thanks for the new restaurants you are putting on Ww. I would like to see some Mexican restaurants in the Houston area have some food we can eat on Ww. The problem I find Is, that a lot of restaurants do not have nutritional values on line so you can figure out the point system.

  3. Hi Sadie: I just love all these guides for eating out. I print them and put them in a file so before I go to eat anywhere, I check the file and see what I can do and how to count my points, or plan for them. You are a gift to us all. Thank you!!

  4. Thank you so much slapdashmom, I have to get back on WW. I gained 20bs over the winter. I.know what I did- not to mention. I have hypothyroidism, which makes it doubly.hard to lose weight. THESE RESTAURANTS WITH THEIR POINT VALUE SURLY COMES IN HANDY IF I OCCASIONALLY GO OUT.
