Macaroni and cheese is a classic staple in our house. Weight Watchers assigns 0 points to all veggies, so we can enjoy veggie loaded macaroni and cheese for dinner! Now with the new Freestyle plan, you can add CHICKEN to this recipe without adding any extra points!

gluten free macaroni and cheese

This is also a good potluck dish. Most people don't think about allergies (or calories!) when it comes to family gatherings. Bringing a gluten-free dish that is also something those on Weight Watchers can eat is a win-win.

  1. It sounds delicious to me! And I do love the idea of bringing it to a potluck…often times there is nothing for those that are gluten free to eat, other than what they brought.

  2. Yum, that looks amazing! What a great dish for Fall. :) Great co-hosting with you at the #HomeMattersParty

  3. Wow, this calls my name. I should give this recipe a try. I’m craving for pasta right now. So will try your recipe. Looks delicious #HomeMattersParty

  4. This mac and cheese looks sooooo good! I have never tried adding veggies to mine, but definitely will give your recipe a try soon. Pinning!

  5. Yumm-O! This looks so good and I bet it’s all the better with those healthy veggies in the mix! Thanks for sharing!

  6. Looks delicious! Love that it is a “better for you” version of mac-n-cheese!

  7. Looks so good and chessy! I love how you added veggies to it because it makes it healthier!

  8. I love recipes with hidden veggies! I can’t wait to try this mac ‘n cheese. Thanks for linking up with Merry Monday last week!

  9. Saw this recipe and it’s a life saver for a Weight Watcher! I’m going to a Samhain Pot Luck, and I’m bringing this! Most of the women are vegetarians, so this will be good (no vegans, so the cheese will not be a problem). Thanks for sharing.

  10. This looks and sounds amazing!!! I can’t wait to try this with my family :)

  11. All of my mac an cheeses always have meat or just cheese. Don’t know why it didn’t dawn on me to add veggies. This looks delicious!

  12. Corn is actually not zero points. I doubled this recipe and 2 cups of corn (16 oz) is 10 points.

    1. 2 cups of corn is not 10 points. Corn is 1 SmartPoint or 1 PointsPlus for 4oz, so 2PP for 8oz. You can omit the corn if you want it to be lower points. :)

      1. According to the points record I have, corn is zero points.

    1. Looks really good. Can’t wait to try this.
