  1. I love this post. One of my favorite things to do is create memorable moments. I talk about it with my family often – and we do it in my nuclear family. We will be using some of these ideas – I’ve wanted to try geocaching! Kudos to you and Nell on the 5K! Bobbi and I read a book together this summer – Silver Sparrow by Tayari Jones. The book had characters in my age group and hers who suffered dramatic life changing events. The discussions we had were revealing, thought provoking and bonding. Yeah to Mother Daughter activities.

    1. How old is your daughter? I’m interested in doing this with my daughter, but she is 11 and I’m wondering if this would be appropriate for us.

    2. Elizabeth….how did you do the reading? Take turns reading a few pages, etc?
How much time… a shorter book? She’s an adult and we both like to read.

  2. i liked the post alot me and my did some of them the night i found it [ maybe u should try crafts]

      1. 👕👖👗👜👚💼🎒👝👙🎓🎩👘👒👑👟👔👞👢👡⌚💄🔰👓👠at the mall

  3. I love these ideas. I totally need to add quite a few to my “Bucket list before my Daughter leaves for College”. Sad thing is she is so busy she has to fit me into her schedule LOL

    1. I am quickly about to graduate from high school so I understand. But don’t stress out she will find the time!

  4. i didn’t find this very useful because me and my mom are looking for something that we can do just this instant everything here seems like it has to be planned. I think you should add some of those things.

  5. On the оther hand, if yоu’re interested in fоrming a lоng-term relatiоnship, if yоu’re wоndering hоw tо make yоur man cоmmit tо yоu withоut being clingy, оr if yоu simply want a relatiоnship guide that is practical and easy tо fоllоw, then the Make Him A Mоnоgamy Junkie can be a great оptiоn fоr yоu.

    1. Are you serious?! This is for mothers and girls and there are young girls on this forum so get this bs out of here! What a looser!

  6. I have 2 daughters (10 & 8) and I love this list! I think the best part is that you don’t have to plan ahead! We love going shopping (of the window variety mostly), bowling, minigolf….who doesn’t like movies, and going out for ice cream? I think this is a great last minute list and can be tweaked if you are having an all date to include more than one item!
    Thanks for the ideas!

    1. Macy, I’m sure your mom would be happy no matter which ones you choose! :) I love when my daughters make me little booklets (like free coupons for massages or to do the dishes). Try that! :)

  9. Hey, I am 13 years old and lately, my mom and I have grown apart. Any really good ideas to help me and her reconnect?

    1. Ayden, I would start by writing her a letter! Tell her how you feel and how much you care about her, then use a few ideas from this list to plan some “dates”. :) You can email me if you ever need to chat!
