Ingredients for 2 Ingredient Dough Cinnamon Rolls

1 cup nonfat Greek yogurt (Fage is best)
1 cup self-rising flour
1/4 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (see notes)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup whipped cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Splenda
water

Notes: I use vanilla bean paste. It's most affordable (less than $10) at Wal-Mart (found in the cake decorating aisle). You CAN use vanilla extract, I just REALLY love vanilla bean paste. :)

How to Make 2 Ingredient Dough Cinnamon Rolls

Combine yogurt, flour, vanilla bean paste, and cinnamon together in a mixing bowl. Knead by hand until the dough forms a ball. Roll out onto the floured surface.

Combine cream cheese, cinnamon, Splenda, and a few teaspoons water. Using the picture as a reference, roll out the dough into three sections, adding cream cheese mixture as you roll.

Cut each section into 8 pieces. You will get 24 rolls total. That makes them 1 point each.

Place in Air Fryer at 400*F for about 12 minutes. You can also bake these in the oven. I tried them a few different ways but LOVE the Air Fryer version.

Once you remove the cinnamon rolls from the Air Fryer, drizzle with the remaining cream cheese mixture. You may need to heat it up a bit to make it thin enough to drizzle.

  1. I just made a batch of the 2 ingredient dough. I used half for a pizza the other half I tried something else. I rolled my dough out added spray butter mixed Substitute sugar and cinnamon in a bowl then sprinkled over the butter. I added cooked small apple pieces I softened in the microwave added that on top of sugar mix rolled it up and then cut in 12 rolls. They were yummy.
I am going to try yours next. I didn’t have any cream cheese, it is on my Grocery list.
Thank you for the great recipe

      1. It was not at all obvious to me why they were called 2 ingredient cinnamon rolls. I found it to be quite misleading. But thanks for the recipe…

        1. It says “2 ingredient dough” cinnamon rolls – because the base is the infamous 2 ingredient dough. Sorry if you missed that?

          1. ooh! I was wondering too lol. When you put quotation marks on it, it makes sense. Otherwise, it doesn’t. Should add those quotations in the title for us newbies to this trend. Hoping try this.

          2. Quotes don’t work in the title, it messes things up as far as search goes for my blog. I figured I explained it fairly well but if not it’s easy to see there are more ingredients, they’re delish and worth a try. ;)

  2. Could I do these in my nu-wave oven? It only goes to 350 so I’m guessing I’d have to adjust the baking time.

  3. Could you use fat free cream cheese instead of the whipped cream cheese. I wouldn’t know what to do with the left over cream cheese because I use only fat free.
