Drink more water! This is the bottle I use. One of the most frequently asked questions is “how much water should I drink?”. Weight Watchers says to drink 64 ounces of “liquids” each day, including water, coffee, diet soda, tea, and juice. My personal philosophy, based on several conversations with nutritionists and doctors (as well as lots of research!) is that you should drink half your bodyweight in ounces, up to 100 ounces a day, as long as you don't have any health conditions where your doctor would direct otherwise. The choice is ultimately up to you. If you need tips on drinking more water, check out this post I wrote.
Scanning is important. There are tons of foods that may seem low points when they're not. Bring your phone and use the app to scan EVERY food before you guy it! You may think a granola bar is 2 or 3 points when really they're 5 or 6 points. That's a huge difference!
I did a fridge tour. While my refrigerator isn't exclusively a “Weight Watchers” fridge, I've been asked a million times what I keep in there, so I showed you guys! :) I keep Premier Protein stocked (for my coffee hack), but have found I like Atkins protein shakes just as much (and they're cheaper – but 4 points instead of 2). I'm still trying out other shakes to see which ones I love and don't love, and will share with you guys!
I'm doing a road trip! Everything is in the planning stages still, but I talked about our road trip coming up. We are super excited to meet you! I haven't figured out the stops for sure, but the ones in the running are St. Louis, Chicago, Manhatten, Phoenix, San Diego, and Oahu.
