As a mom, when looking for a quick breakfast to feed to my family, I purchase a cereal brand I can trust. Nutrition is important to me with 3 growing girls. I am particular when choosing a cereal that is not only good for them but tasty too!
Knowing where our cereal comes from is very important to me for my family’s health. Filling them with sugary, sweet, non-nutritious food is not what breakfast to me is about; it is about being healthy. My girls had fun watching these mini-videos to learn more about the food they were eating.
Gracelynn was surprised that the delicious Corn Flakes were actually healthy!
It’s interesting to watch the process, from the seed to the spoon. I love looking at the ingredients list and not seeing 238473289 things I cannot pronounce. As vegetarians, we have to be careful about nutrition labels. You’d be surprised at how often gelatin gets sneaked in. Considering gelatin is made from the crushed up bones of pigs, horses, and other livestock, we’ve chosen not to eat it. Kellogg’s brand cereals are perfect for our family (and yours!) because they tell you what they put in their products, and they’re a name you can trust so you don’t have to worry about things that you might have to with other brands.
Kelloggs offers the Seed to Spoon approach. They work with farmers from Michigan(wheat), Nebraska (corn) and Louisianna (rice) to understand exactly how they work well together. This offers a cereal with multi-grain, vitamins and minerals that will give a body the energy it needs to make it through the morning alert and not hungry – all things that are important to families like mine!
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Kellogg’s. I received sample products to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item as a thank-you for participating.
