Have you heard of Dot.Mine planners?

These beautiful planners would be great for students, moms, working women… anyone really! Dot.Mine also has a Spanish/English bilingual planner as well.

I really like that there are separate sections for each season (Fall and Winter 2011 in front, Spring and Summer 2012 in back). At the front of the planner, there is a place for personal information, emergency numbers, friends names/numbers, and more. There is also a holiday list for both years (2011 and 2012), which is really helpful for me because I never remember when holidays are!

On each page, there’s a spot that says “Stick to it!” where you can put a sticky note, or you can put important notes that you don’t want to forget. After displaying the entire month on a two-page spread, the planner then breaks it down into each week. There is space on each page for a list (like a grocery list), calls to make, or whatever you want to use it for.

One of my favorite parts of this planner is the quotes at the bottom of the pages.

Using a planner may seem a bit old school to you younger folks out there, but sometimes technology fails – or screws things up – and I would much rather have an actual planner to fall back on. I also like showing my kids what is going to be happening in the days and weeks to come, and you can’t do that as easily with a cell phone or iPad app. Sometimes it’s best to just get back to basics, and Dot.Mine can help with that – with an updated twist. The different options in the planner make it more advanced than a regular notebook, but the size makes it perfect for your purse or briefcase.
