Crashers is a captivating fictional book about accident fraud. Crashers kept my attention mostly because it went into great detail about the investigation into vehicular accident fraud, and that’s right up my alley. Before I had kids, I wanted to be a lawyer. Once I started college, I realized investigating cases would be more fun than prosecuting them, so I had my eyes set on being a detective. Life got in the way, and things changed, but I still dive into books like these any chance I get.

This book takes you through the story of Nathan and Shari, who think of a get-rich-quick way to get out of debt – or so they think. Crashers is the type of book that makes you want to finish the book quickly because you can’t wait to find out what happens at the end. This story is about love, desperation, and greed. While it is easy to get caught up in the “quick” money making side of things, Crashers is a cautionary tale as to why you should steer clear of such things (if your conscience doesn’t already tell you this). If you wanna get rich fast, you’re going to pay a much bigger price…
