I'm claiming it now: I'm going to do a half-marathon in 2017. I've done two already, but I've never worried about time… just about finishing. This time, my only goal is to beat my last time. As long as I train – even a little bit – I can do that. I guess a secondary goal is to not get injured, as my broken foot has kept me down for almost 2 years now.
Claiming this means I've had to make some strides towards fitness again. I'm not quite on track but am doing better than I was for the past two years. I went to the gym today, and these headphones really saved me, so I wanted to tell you guys about them. They sent them to me for review a while back and Rach has been using them, but until today I hadn't tried them. They're literally game changing and I'm ordering myself a pair now.
Ever tried to go for a run with wired headphones? Yeah, me either! Okay have you ever gone n a jog with wired headphones? Yes, yes I have and let me tell you how much of a distraction it is to have this wire hitting you in the face or rubbing your arm, making you think there is a spider on you. You can try to shove the cords down your cleavage but it's never a happy ending.
Good news is there are many wireless options now. Not all wireless options are comparable though, so research is involved. I have cut your research time in half, because I'm going to tell you how awesome AfterShokz Trekz Titanimum Wireless Headphones are. Yeah, it's a mouthful. Whew.
These are the safest wireless headphone options because they DO NOT go in your ear, they use bone conduction through your cheekbones. This is so important if you enjoy running or jogging in public as you can still hear what is going on around you.
AfterShokz Trekz Titanium wireless headphones offer great features:
They come in hot pink, teal, lime green, and black; they carry a 4.5 star rating on Amazon.
